The Whitechapel Gun Club (Game report - 4th November)
« on: May 06, 2012, 06:26:13 PM »
Here's my entry from round 9 of the lead painters' league. Close-ups and a different angle  :)

Above, Foundry's Constance Bowbridge, Rose Earlly and Dr Watson - all ex-limited editions sculpted by Mark Copplestone...

Above, Partizan giveaway 'The Undertaker' by Mike Owen, Ironclad's 'Irene', and 'Malto Cortese', from Foundry's Darkest Africa range by Copplestone.

 :o

These blew me away the first time that I saw them, and the effect is not lessened in any way with a repeat performance!
One of the stars of an amazing LPL season.

Just the thought of attempting Watson's suit causes me to tremble.
Superb brushwork on each and every one!

The imaginative approach to the undertaker is what struck me, how many were painted black?

My thought, exactly, Svennn: no tram lines being followed here.
Back from the dead, almost.

Definitely one of the stand out entries of Season Six, even amongst your wonderful offerings. Thanks for the close-ups!

I really loved this entry!  :-*
The textile patterns are insane!  :o

The truly amazing part, you could have just shown the brick work without all of the great miniatures and I would have been thoroughly impressed.  :D

Wonderful, Richard.

Stripes, plaids... blimey!

But I must admit the flower lady stole my heart. :-*
