"The Crypt" Strange Aeons contest AAR (written)
« on: May 08, 2012, 07:25:37 AM »
Well to be honest I did not write this AAR with the contest in mind so it's nothing special. However since Styx said we could enter into each category (written/media) I thought I would at least post this to act as a "filler".

The scenario played was one of the new scenarios from Morbid Adventures, the Threshold team is accompanied by an operative who know about a treasure of some sort being hidden down in a crypt. So he stations the Threshold team outside to guard the entrance while he tries to make it down to the bottom of the crypt. In the meantime the player controlling the Lurkers enters the table on the opposite edge and tries to thwart the good guys.

We played it twice - swapping sides after the first game. Full AAR on my blog

Nice write-up and unbelievable bad luck for the treshold in the first game, something I can fully relate to :)

My friend laughed hysterically as I kept rolling 1's and 2's, it was just unbelievable.

Wow, I never thought my dice luck would transfer to my scenarios.  Sorry about that!

Very nice read and good to know I'm not the only one that rolls 1 a lot (my guns jam all the time).

Ditto!
Sounds like great fun, even when you do keep rolling the 1's!
You must be due some great luck soon...
Sounds like a great scenario, will be giving that one a go asap.

Good choice of models and scenery, too.

I've seen your models several times before and I have been impressed.
Seeing them in a different light is almost like seeing totally different figures.
They look great.  :-*
