They've got Smurf hats! Well, not really. But you did invite comments!

They are painted well, though. That's not many archers for an army, though! Or perhaps I'm ruined by various fantasy armies.

There's always one, isn't there? Look at that fool in the yellow hat, showing off in front of the camera, and spoiling it for everyone. And God knows where that arrow went, he's just shot it off to the right without looking.

I wonder where it ended up?

 :)

There was once a kid at our school who kept poking his tongue out on the school photo. They must have tried six or seven times to get a shot without him doing it, but failed. So there he remains, his tongue preserved for posterity. He didn't half cop it after, though.

That period is something I wouldn't mind gaming, if someone else would do all the painting.

Smurfs; you're showing your age there Pete! Not an army really, just one of each casting of the figures my son Matthew is sculpting for Foundry; a bit of old fashioned parental pride, though I do have about the same number of Vikings I got cheap last year when those blisters were £2.00 each in the factory shop.
As you usually reply to my postings anyway, you can guess the request was aimed more at the silent visitors, to encourage more people to join in.

I fully understand parental pride. They do look good! My congratulations to Matthew.

Also, 2 UKP blisters?? Can I get the family discount? I reply to all of your posts! I'll stop posting pictures of Kirk! I'll recant publicly! My standards are negotiable!

Not a family discount, Pete, just once when I was in the Foundry the 'cheap blisters section' was all £2.00 a blister [I think they are the last castings before the mould is fully warmed{?} Too good a price to miss, I'm sure you agree.]

Plynkes, that's a wonderful posting, really funny. Incidently, I think there is a 'Death of Harold' pack planned later this year. I am sure, though, that you are more than up to painting your own figures! Cheers!
