Some ACW gun crews… the guns were painted some time ago. The red arrows indicate figures that were miscast which I repaired using a length of arm with a sword and a pistol holding hand, both from Perry plastic sets.

Some wildly different group of figures in this post!  Where did you get the streaker figures?

Your style is interesting. You can certainly paint very neat and clean. Don't you like the idea of shading though? I am not trying to be disrespectful here but your figures from 2012 are essentially the same as you are doing now. Block colours, no gradation. If you like them that way that's great. My own aesthetic dictates that I must try to emulate what is see is possible from what other folks do, even though I can't see what I am painting  lol
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Thanks, I do like the clean style of just block painting... I do some highlight and shading but most of the time, althought it's visible on the actual figures, it didn't shows much on pictures...  ;D
