Genius. The movie wasn't half as good as your diorama.

Yeah, that diorama kicks ass !  :o

Thanks for the comments all.

… but, showing my inability to stay focus, is that a Wargames Factory figures on the left in the last pictures? I would like to see more ;)

Yes it is, one of the samurai. Not quite finished yet, I was just sending off a WIP shot. I'll probably post some pics when I get them done.

But it really did suffer when all crammed into one picture.

That was certainly a tough round for people to photograph. The entire boat in the picture, plus ten figures figures requirement was made even worse when I used cavalry sized figs with wakes for one team, and a second boat, and a big boat only one person should be on...

Thanks, I like the concept quite a bit, I just wish the movie wasn't so... bad. There are so many things that I completely block out, and when someone reminds me of their least favorite part it all comes back...

For me is was the dive scene....friggin terrible...a damn submarine sticking out of a skyscraper....are you kidding me?

Your diorama on the other hand is Wonderful...the best part of the movie for me was his ship and you've done very well in reproducing that in a gameable fashion...well done.

Cheers,

Is it a painting commission? If you can, later on, some pics would be great indeed

...and I keep watching Blade III from time to time for the same reason ;D

Rather than start a new thread I just decided to rename my old Waterworld thread and tack my new Post-Apocalypse images into it. A friend is gearing up to play some 'This is Not a Test' and I dug out a bunch of old Grenadier Future Warriors that have been sitting unpainted in a box for several years. As is always the case with Copplestone, I really enjoyed painting them.

Lead Adventure 'Rat Seller'.

I also painted a Lead Adventure 'Atomic Mob' figure that has been sitting primed for about three years. He has a headswap and a new spear instead of a hammer.
