FYI,  this guy on ebay is dumping a pile of AWi figs.  Not great figs, nor painted well, but if you are looking for a cheap head start...

Thank you for the heads up. TBH though they look more trouble than they're worth to repaint/touch up etc

Well, we'll see John. I want to do this slowly, a unit here a unit there & build it up over time, as i have lots of projects on the go as you know. The guys are keen on putting a Demo on next year. I have enough deadlines for work & a forced painting schedule on just one topic is not really my thing

Indian allies were certainly involved in the war, particularly for the Loyalists. Where and when though others would be better placed to say as i'm trying to avoid doing the reading on the subject and getting sucked in too quickly
