Kinda fitting to use zombies to bring a thread back from the dead. Sorry about that. Anyway, just as the title suggests, I finished my first round of zombies. Dont get to excited though, this is pretty bad WF and GW stuff.

To be fair, they turned out pretty much how I expected them to. I didnt want to waste a lot of time or money on individualizing zeds so these are a cheap (and partly recycled) solution. I painted these guys up, with help from my daughter, in a 4 color and a wash sceme.
Also included in this update are a few no- name fodder, er survivors.

There is a bit more on my blog, thanks for looking!

I got a few Dark Knight Clix models and several Hunger Games "Clix" models a few weeks back. The HG ones weren't really Clix, they were mounted on a pedestal but are the same figure wise.
Anyway, I re-based them and gave them all a wash of GW delvan mud and Presto! More fodder for the town of Gray Haven. I think they turned out pretty good for what they are and the time invested. I did have to add a hand swap on the big guy who is hunched over as he was holding this weird rock/ball looking thing in one hand and a sword in the other. Oh and that IS Bruce Wayne. As fodder. Yep.

Thats all for now,

I have almost the complete set of HG figures. Also have many duplicates. I have zombiefied a number of them already. They are fairly soft plastic and easy to take 'bites out of with my needle nose plyers & then repaint.

I finished the Detectives minitures from Road Kill. They turned out pretty good considering they are marginal sculpts with horrible casting. However finding modern US police and detectives not kitted out in SWAT gear is not easy, so these are still a good find. They will also double as FBI or some other Gubmint agency in some games. I still have no names as of yet, so if there are any good suggestions, shout em out.

Thanks Brummie Thug! Here are some uniformed officers to go with the detectives.

These are made by Mobocracy, a line carried by Armorcast. There are not many companies that make an American uniformed police model, so these were a good find and look decent also. My only complaint is that they all have Sergent or Corporal stripes on thier sleeves, something unnoticed until I was already painting. I was going to make on a Lieutenant in a white shirt (a supervisor) and I didnt want to file on a model I already finished the skin on.
Comments welcome!
