Hi Guys! I started collecting and painting Empress Modern Combat minis. And I thought I'll share my progress with you guys. Why? Because you are awesome! And besides that I'm wondering if you can reccommend me some nice modern skirmish rules.

Here are the first of them. British special forces (SAS? SBS? Who knows?!).

These are beautiful. I have these have just painted one and will be pinching some of your camo ideas.
As for rules I am looking at ARSE http://homepage.ntlworld.com/roweller/ARSE/BAD%20ARSE%20rules.pdf
these are free and designed to re-create the first person shooter, look like alot of fun.
I also bought Operation Squad Modern Rules from Empress, from what I've read these look very good, I may end up combining elements of both.

You know painters like you put me off picking up my paint brush because I simply can't get anywhere near that standard

Hi Guys! Thanks for the kind words and the recommended rules.

Here are four more Brits I finished.

I'm working on some Americans SF right now. Multicam is driving me nuts. I have no clue how to paint the ACU when starting US Army figs.
