quote: I think it's a great idea to have partial and full plate armour, but isn't +3 or +4 defence too high? The Men at arms' defence now is 4, but it would be 8 with full plate armour. Isn't that too high?

Also, it costs more, so a knight (55 pts) with full plate costs 75 pts, plus a pole axe (5 pts), and a horse (10, or 20 if armoured) meaning you can get a man costing 95 pts. In a 400 or 500 pts game, it can mean quite a bit and makes keeping plate down to the tough men.

As the file is a docx not a doc it won't work in older versions of Word. So some people won't be able to open it no matter what.

EDIT: and my 2010 version wasn't happy - didn't recognise it as a Word file for some reason, had to go in and manually connect it to get it to open.

But it's very lovely when you get it open! I really like the illustrations.

Do you need to add the shooting score for the knights, even though they don't have missile weapons as an option?

Me neither  :(
When you save your document, you have the option to save it as an earlier version of Word... A .doc rather than a .docx...
Might be worth a try, since quite a few people seem to be having problems?

It's messed up the nice formatting, but for those of you keen to see the data I've resaved it in a 97-2003 version.

Thanks, that worked after adding the .doc file extension to it.
