A few Ancient Egyptians I've painted up lately...

Archers (psiloi!) for a New Kingdom Egyptian DBA army. (Foundry)

Some more archers for skirmishy games. (Foundry)

Egyptian Priest of some sort...? (Foundry)

Egyptian family from Black Tree Design

Stay tuned for more...

Tim, they’re lovely, well done!

Shame, I didn’t think of that Egyptian family placing an BTD order some days ago.

Nice!

I think perhaps Egyptians, Hittites and Assyrians make up the best possible spectacle for Ancients.

Too bad for me no one does plastics.  lol

Lovely miniatures and a neat paint job.

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Back to the Egyptians for a moment...

I have a couple DBA elements of each of these almost complete... should be finished soon.

Of course I just got an email from my Friendly Local Game Store indicating the pile o' Foundry Greek Myth stuff I ordered has arrived... so that may prove to be a considerable distraction (OOooOOoooh! NEW toys!?)

Here's a few more:

Some more Greek Mythology figures arrived yesterday... so that will likely distract me from the Egyptians for a bit...

The Victorian Outpost

Its a new gaming place in Grimsby with new terrain and new scenery, lots of respect for all wargamers and is the best place to game in town.

Anybody who wishes to visit the venue to arrange a game then  just pm me and lets roll those dice.

Back to the Egyptians for a moment - just to switch things up a bit...

An element of Spear for the DBA army (though I think the Spearmen are classified as "Blade"...?)

a couple civilians for role-playing/skirmishing/occupying DBA camps...

All figures are from Wargames Foundry.

Darn it, if I'd thought of it earlier I'd have taken some comparison pics with the BTD civilians... Ah well, I have a few  more of these on the workbench at the moment - I'll remember to do it next time!
