First look, Company B 1/56 Mercedes Wolf
« on: June 04, 2012, 07:20:41 AM »
Here's the Mercedes Wolf, the third model from our Mercedes G wagon kit.  With this model, that's three different kits that use the same resin base hull.  The differences between all three models are just the metal add-on parts.

The next version will be the P4!  If this gets interest, we'll probably release the Toyota land cruisers and trucks next, since we seemingly worked out all the kinks with this series.

We've been using a method of Digital sculpting, 3D printing, and traditional sculpting on many of the new models this year.  For this particular model, the base civilian hull is digital, but everything else is old school by myself and Kostas for the driver  :D

It's a fine looking model... just too 'Modern' for me, as my clock stopped at about 1980.  ::)

Subtle hints do work then!  lol

I've been watching their progress on the site, since you mentioned them on here... and there are nearly enough pennies in the 'BTR-40 jar' to get one! Seriously though, I'm looking forward to seeing your upcoming 'Cold War' releases.

Best one of these yet I reckon. Any idea when WCP might have these?

Lovely stuff Brent. I just ordered a couple of the German SOF versions and I may have to add one of these to the list.
