Tusk project

hetairoi:
Finally Iīve decided to play a Tusk game, using some Copplestone cavemen and a Carnotaurus Reaper I have (I donīt have yet mammoths!). Although the game was very fast (the young Og, killed the dinosaur on turn two), I liked the rules and I will go slowly expanding my prehistoric miniature collection... I'm thinking of DeeZee mammoths, what do you think?

Here are some photos of the game, you can see more in:

Cheers!

Marine0846:
Nice looking game.
Will be interested to see what you come up with.

Peter@BattleScape:
I have the DeeZee Mammoths in my pile to to paint..they are very nice. I am working on some of their bears and Crocodiles at the moment. All of which are nicely sculpted and cast. Only drawback is with packs that contain multiple figures of the same animal/creature......they are the same figure. To overcome this with the Crocs I have changed the tail shape on the 3 that I have.
That said they fill a gap in the market, are not overpriced, not out of scale, take paint well and look the part.

Great looking stuff.  8)  :-*

I'd recommend the DeeZee stuff as well, I painted a fair bit of it a few years ago and was quite happy with how they look when finished.
