The use of tissue is ingenious. What did you use for the frame, just plain old wire?

Yes, it is on the small side, but its a 'game token' rather than a scale model ~ I know my limitations. Its 9" long and 4" high, so way too small in 28mm scale, but its fun I think.

The frame is a cardboard tude with a cardboard strip over frame. The tissue is PVA'd to that, anchored at bow and stern by the polystyrene 'egg' halves.

I think it's great and would be perfect as a representative model. The frame really adds to the look.
