I ended up buying a hole bunch of front rank figs and I found that they match well with some of the old games workshop range like the dogs of war and the old empire models. It also matches with some of the newest Lord of the rings plastics. They also match pretty good with gripping beast and maybe with some mirliton...
It's true that they are really bulky but I like the style and the models are wonderfully sculpted! They have a lot of character that makes them unique IMO...

Although not wars of the roses, it might be worth seeing if Kingmaker (being sold by 1st corps) go with FR? I'm sure they'd be great for 100 years war, or at least early/mid ish.

That said with the Kingmaker stuff i don't understand why its listed as 15th century. Surely the majority of that century was dominated by the War of the Roses-esque style, save for the first few decades. Sorry to divert it slightly but it confuses me muchly.

... Little? No, when it arrived, the kneeling figure is almost as tall as the standing Master. If he was stood up he's be a 40mm fig. ...

I think that’s a problem with quite a few manufacturers… I was looking at a kneeling Artizan commando figures the other day and it look as big as the standing figures that was next to it… :?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

I've found that the old metal citadel bretonnians fit really well with front rank. I mix the archers and halberdiers together and they look great.

But isn't most of it designed for the Hussite wars? A very specific period in the early half of the century, and on the other side of Europe.

Some of it is just fine for the Hundred Years War and maybe poorly equipped troops in the Wars of the Roses. They also fit well with Perrys.
