@DN..thanks, I really appreciate your comments. I wish I had half the imagination you put into the Last Hurrah project, that is inspirational!

As to rules, I am using "Savage Worlds" with the Horror/Fantasy expansions for the Mordheim/D&D Chainmail aspects of these games but will use the same scenery and some of the figures for straight up Witchfinder General: Days of Revelation games as well.
The great thing about Savage Worlds is that it works from RPG level encounters right up to big multi player skirmish and allows me to use any of the D&D creatures/monsters.

Next up some pictures of a few of the "troops" the Coven has at their call & command.

Reaper Witch, Familiars and Pumpkins.

VERY COOL & WELL DONE additions to the project. I have a particular fondness for Reaper's Jack O'Lanterns AND I just painted the Faerie Fiend on the right.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

I love the cairn! It's stunning and very lifelike. I may eventually buy one.

Your coven is amazing; I really like the variety of the miniatures that you used. Some really nice models in there.

Cheers
Andy

Some other forces that the Coven can call on. Much more for the Fantasy aspect of the games. I have taken the approach that the Witches will be able to summon and animate woodland creatures and dark spirits to fight for them. I have deliberately not taken the "undead" approach with this force....plenty of scope for them elsewhere later ;)

Some Goblins. (Slavic Goblins being more like mischievous Imps than warriors I decided to use the old GW snotling figures, suitable comic and small enough). 2 per 25mm base.

Some Mushrooms. Immune to pain but very much afraid of garlic, especially when mixed with clarified butter. RP and an as yet unknown make of figures (the great little pudgy guys). Again 2 per 25mm base.

Natural spirits, mud, wood and plant. GW Fen Beast and some plastic clix repaints. Still to come some Dryads, Wood Wold, elementals, and spiders.

Pumpkin-head Scarecrows: Westwind and I think Reaper plus an old Chronicle figure that really belongs with the plants and another little familiar (GW)

Sack-head Scarecrows: RP, Westwind, a Chronicle Turnip head (painted as Beet) and another clix repaint (will be used as a troll or ogre)

Thanks for the comments on my progress so far, feel free to discuss these or similar figures, and let me know if you have anything that would fit here that you want to trade off. The more variety the better!
Next up a few classic D&D "monsters" that inhabit this place.

Any of these can appear as "wandering" type monsters or as side quests that can earn players experience and possibly items/artifacts that can aid them as the campaign progresses.

Those are WONDERFULLY DONE pieces...very nicely painted & based. I love the Big Guy with the Sack Heads.

We seem to be going down parallel paths to the same destination. As a variant to the already created Pumpkin Heads, I've been doing some up using Reaper's Pumpkin & Jack O'Lantern pack. Here's a Group Shot of one of the Crews:

Great work Rob,

Now an interesting twist similar to yours with regard to summoning of imps and other spirit is within the Books the Painted man, albeit not traditional British folklore it may have elements (no pun intended). Its something I have been building forces for for Fear and Faith type games using 4A miniatures, Britannen and the old Vor Growlers amongst others;

The origin of the corelings is an enigma to humankind, but legend suggests that corelings live by day in the Earth’s core and rise to the planet’s surface each night to feed. There are different types of corelings (known as alagai in the Krasian language), each associated with a particular element
Fire demons – Small, cat-like creatures, fond of arson, and able to spit “demonfire” - a supernatural form of napalm.
Wood demons – Tall and powerful, with skin that camouflages them in wooded areas, though vulnerable to fire and thus antagonistic to fire demons.
Wind demons – Small bodied but with large membranous wings, these demons hunt from the air silently and effectively but their wings also limit their movement on the ground.
Rock demons – Massive powerful creatures, with rock-like, horny thick skin.
Water demons – Tentacled and unable to survive away from water.
Bank demons - Giant frog-like demons staying near banks of water sources in the north. Uses its tongue to catch and swallow humans whole.
Sand demons – Smaller versions of rock demons but with weaker armor, which stand on all-fours and are the most commonly encountered demons in the deserts of Krasia where they hunt the sands in packs.
Snow demons - No info and not yet encountered in the books
Clay demons - Four legged demons found near clay river banks. They tend to charge their targets and attempt to ram them using their heads.
Mother demon - Mother of all demons. Krasians believe her to be a handmaiden of Nie herself.
Alagai Ka - Believed to be the father or first of the demons and their first general. The most powerful by far and direct father to the mind demons.
Mimics - Little is known aside from their ability to perfectly imitate anything, although they are not too intelligent. So far they have only appeared when escorting a mind demon.
Mind demon - Also known as princlings, they are bipedal and have bulbous, pulsating horn-like organs on their heads which facilitate their telepathic abilities. They are incredibly intelligent and very old, possibly older than the first demon war. They are served by mimics and can use ward magic of their own. They command lesser demons which they view as drones, as well as being able to control the minds of unprotected humans in whose memories they can rifle without notice. Love to eat human brains. They are extremely sensitive to daylight, able to surface only when the moon is waning. Their concentration is easily broken by physical pain.
All of demons have magical abilities, including rapid healing, enhanced strength, and poisonous talons. Although primarily interested in their human prey, they are also prone to attacking one another - particularly when a more powerful coreling chances upon a smaller, weaker or wounded variety. More types of corelings appear in the four subsequent books.

This one?

World of Warcraft Harvest Golem.

lowtardog: interesting demonologies. Finding figures for all those will make for an interesting selection of minis. I have taken the easy option and am using D&D/Chainmail for my bestiary, there are so many Monster Manuals and Fiend Folios that I have not found anything that I cannot source. I will then simplify/convert the stats to Savage Worlds for the games.

Bloody hell, Rob!
The new additions are great!

I feel the need to purchase some 'sackheads' myself for my SA project now that I have seen yours.
I was already considering that 'clix plant, and now that I have seen the size of it ('kin' massive!), I must add that to the list as well.......
