T&T Trojan Wars
« on: July 03, 2012, 07:42:22 PM »
Wargames Soldiers & Strategy 61 has an article about the Trojan Wars.
The writer used T&T rules as a basis for his game.
I hadn't considered using the rules for ancients before.

Feature: Jan Gross, 'From concept to wargames convention - The Trojan War in 90 minutes'.

The seed for our ‘Trojan War in 90 minutes’ was planted at the end of February 2011, at the TACTICA wargaming convention in Hamburg. It was one of the coldest winters in Germany since Iwas born, so who could blame two shivering boys for dreaming of Troy, sunshine, and the ocean? Thus, my joint project with Tilman Moritz was born.

Well, I'm off to the store... :D

Indeed, do get this issue! :D
We'll probably come up with some additional coverage here at LAF soon. The Prof almost pushed us to it… ;)

I missed that whole thread! Good thing, considering the lack of progress! ;)

My painting table is filled w/ all things Troy these days, so I'd love to see that promised report!

I really enjoyed the article, accompanied by some lovely painted figures!  Not played T&T for a while but this looks ingenious.

Yeah, brilliant project and nice article (even if I was painting Saxons like an idiot, right Jan? ;) Na, no hard feelings. You still owe me a pint of beer though. :P ).

WSS is developing to a great magazine. Nice to see T&T being featured in there.
