Does anyone know of manafacturers who make relativly cheap figures for Sassanid Persians/ late Romans.

Miniatures Design Studio http://www.miniaturedesignstudio.co.uk/index.asp does some nice cheap Sassanids.  Periodically he has 'warband' sales where 50 figures sell for £25.  Consequently, most of my Sassanid infantry are MDS, with a few A&A mixed in, and all with my own shields.

Black Tree Designs' Late Roman legionaries are excellent, and when you catch a BTD sale, can be had at a good price.
