Colonial Wild West
« on: July 06, 2012, 03:14:28 AM »
On Wed at our local club, Jon & I played a follow on from our Bushranger games.

An Aboriginal tribe (used Plains Tribe from LOTOW Frontier book) had been upset by a visiting Priest and Nun who were supported by 3 of the local Church ladies and were threatening violence as a result. The local Troopers (Lawmen posse with some characters) were tasked with defending the clergy and I decided on a slight variation to the Jailbreak scenario. Instead of having to release the prisoner, the tribe had to wound or kill the do gooders while the Troopers and some Citizens had to defend them.

We were very rusty on the rules, made a few mistakes but had a good game. Several of the Aboriginals were injured but the good ladies of the church were killed and the priest and Nun fled for their lives!

Unfortunately I forgot the camera, so no pics, sorry.
Cheers,

Funny enough, I was just thinking of a way to use my Askari for LOTOW, in lieu of U.S 7th Army troopers on foot.
I don't know why though... lol
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...
