Tsuba Miniatures: Russian Officers and NCOs
« on: July 07, 2012, 06:50:43 PM »
Hi Guys,

Here is the Russian command set to lead the Russian troopers into battle:

RJ-R01 Russian Officers & NCOs (4)

They are equiped and posed to fit right in with the available Russian troopers:

Together with RJ-R02 Russian Troopers advancing I.

Together with RJ-R03 Russian Troopers firing I.

These are now available.  ;)

These figures ar fantastic!  Are they capable with Cobblestone, they would be perfect for augumenting and adding variety to WWI RUssians and RCW (BAck of Beyond Forces.  Expect an order within a week or two when I get paid.
What would be the postage to the U.S.?

As always, the new figures look fantastic! It pains me to not own at least two dozen of these miniatures yet, but alas I have so many other projects to finally finish  o_o

Here's a picture from the store's blog comparing the sizes of several ranges to Tsuba. As you can see, they fit in perfectly. If you're planning on using them for RCW, they'd make perfect cadets and soldiers of the 'colourful' regiments.

Lovely figures!

Will you be doing some variant packs w the Russian advancing and firing figures, as you did w the Japanese?

Not with this exact same uniform, but I intend to get two more 'uniform variants' for the 'standard' infantry: one more campaign/veteran looking one with field modifications, etc. and another one with ragged uniforms and such.

Machine guns? Gun crew? Guns? Cavalry?

And and one more thing... Border guards? For field service did they wear the same uniform or will you be doing some in that distinctive double breasted tunic. I could see myself making up some forces for Port Arthur.

Ah, many thanks.

I suspect Copplestone's range would suffice for cavalry, at least the Cossacks. Those border guard uniforms in the relevant Osprey do look rather natty though, so I hope those are on the list.

Well, I noticed that there are two running/charging Russian dollies that haven't been used so far...  :D

Well spotted.  :D

Yes there will be some charging Russians (more dynamic than the advancing ones) with the same caps and equipment as the already released Russians troopers at some point.
I don't know when, though. This will serve as one of the 'mould filler' sets, if the HMGs wouldn't get finished in time, for example.  ;)
