Hello all,

Crocodile Games recently released issue 7 of Croc Tales.  This download is free and has rules/stats for Peltasts, Slingers, Archers, the War Altar, Demigods/Demigoddesses of Apollo, Ares, Artemis, Hades, and Zeus, the Honor Guard attachment for Demigods, and Spartan and Mycenaean Hoplites, Heroes, and specialist Characters.  It also includes allies lists as well as other hints about what is to come in that game as far as future figs, factions, and the like.  You still need the Wargods of Aegyptus rulebook to play the game but between this issue, #2 covering the Titans faction and #6 covering Satyrs and Minotaurs all the Olympus faction unit rules are available for download.  Croc Tales 7 and the previous 6 issues can be downloaded here.

And again, I am not affiliated with the Croc, just a huge fan.

Why would they have rules for Demigods when the damn things still aren't in the store? What has it been, 7-8 years since they started releasing them at conventions?

Great minis, and I would love to buy some, but they are just too damn slow moving at Croc. I get the whole small company thing, but the minis are out there, somewhere! I'd support them, but I don't go to conventions, so Croc does not want me as a customer.

I got my Demi-God miniatures from the online store when they attended show's they put some into the shop for people that could not attend. It would be great to see them finally released.Even if they are just on the webshop until they sell enough.

Crocodile games do some amazing miniatures. Most of which I own and have still sitting in boxes unpainted. The Croc Tales booklet is a great idea to get new rules out for existing miniatures until funds become available for the real thing.

I know how hard this business is and I wish the Croc crew all the best.It is a very hard time for all small businesses at the moment.

Looking forward to the Ice Maidens myself ;).

Something else worth mentioning - on occasion, I have been able to email Crocodile Games and ask what convention figures they have left over.  I haven't always been able to get figures that way, but it's worked more than once.

It doesn't hurt to ask!

I am a great fan of Aegyptus (see painted ones on my URL) as well as the "new" Olympus minis, hearing that you can get them at convetions somewhere across the Atlantic, does not make me really happy......

Being at home in central Europe actions like "I have been able to email Crocodile Games and ask what convention figures they have left over." even in these times are some fuss with all the customs a.s.o.

So lets hope they the get things going for all their fans around the world.

cheers Thomas

I would just like to know what is the thinking behind not releasing minis that were completed years ago to folks that want to buy them. Maybe it gets some folks excited abt hunting them down, but I'll bet it puts some folks off getting involved w/ a company that does such things.

I can certainly understand your frustration on those minis.  That being said I can also understand Croc Games putting out rules for those lucky enough to have what I would assume are essentially limited release and/or preview minis in their minds.  You could also very easily say that the Agamemnon, Leonidas, and Tychedes demigod models are any of the male demigods.  It is a bit of a stretch and does not cover the frustration of knowing there are minis out there for a task that are just not available, but it is a jumping off point.  I do hope that they release those models in the near future.
