So here's a base texture made using toast. I think it might actually look better painted like lava.

That's a fairly nice texture. Perhaps not that unique, but nice.

Good to see that I'm not the only one sticking oyumaru/instantmold all over the place to try textures.

I come back to ask want made you think of using an egg shell in the 1st place and here you are messng about with toast

...nice effect ....but its set me out on the path now to dig out that Instant mold and put the kettle on.
