Book Finds in SF
« on: October 11, 2006, 06:35:28 PM »
Well, halfway through the SF trip (still have not made it to Chinatown to look for cool idol stuff) but while in Sonoma I wandered into a local bookstore. It wasn't anything fancy, and most of what they had was the typical newest releases. Their sci-fi/fantasy/mystery section consisted of about two shelves. I took a cursory glance and wandered away. I wandered back as my wife went through some other books and lo and behold I came across 2 of the DAW Elric books. I already had Sailor on the Seas of Fate, but I found The Weird of the White Wolf and other one that I didn't have. These books can go for $10-$15 USD. I got them for much less than that.

So, my trip has been successful so far for me!

Finding old books in used book stores is one of my greatest pleasures. I never miss the opportunity to go in and browse for several hours if I discover one.
