Navy Seals vs African Warlord (Brink of Battle AAR)
« on: July 15, 2012, 09:04:10 AM »
This game was 1000pts which is the largest supported size in Brink of Battle. This allowed Patrik to field a 7 man Elite strike force and I was able to field no less than 18 insurgent warriors of low quality but great enthusiasm.

Fine looking game. Really like your buildings.
If you use child soldiers in your game ,were they 15mm?
Yes, I read your blog.

The miniatures are all 20mm, don't know where Patrik bought those child soldiers or his African militia. I'm quite certain the US Navy Seals were "Elheimf" (bought my modern Iraqi and US troops from there as well).

A very good battle report- great quailty photes,a nd very nice terrain and figures! Well done to all involved.

I am not familiar with Brink of Battle- what are the blood splat matkers and green stone markers for? Did you make the blood splats yourself?

The blood splatter tokens are extremely popular - might have to create a link to them on my blog. I make them myself by using EM4 22mm clear markers which I painted with blood color  :)

I use the blood tokens in most of my games to mark where wounds or casualties have been inflicted on the table. Makes things a bit more interesting (and gruesome). The green tokens are representing which models will be activating this turn (models without markers are either not activating or have already activated this turn).
