Are there any commerical manufacturers who make acacia trees, or will I be on my own?

Schleich have a range of trees which are quite nice and i believe one of them is an Acacia. Just check their website.

Schleich's Acacia does indeed look very nice  :-*

I've been looking for a much cheaper alternative, as buying a few of the Schleich is going to leave me seriously out of pocket, but so far I've not had any luck in finding any, guess I may end up having to make my own.

But the Schleich one is pretty big, so you may only need one....

I think your best bet is to make your own.
Lots of good how-to articles about making trees on the forum.

About 30cm across and fairly similar in height:

I know it's not an acacia, but the Mopane has a believable height. I'd just remove the base as its pretty chunky.

Hi Rob
Mate forget the Schleich tree unlees you are doing Pulp or ultra skirmish ,it is huge ,a bit toy like & and quite expensive,I know I have one..
For 25mm wargames try the Savanah Trees from Realistic Modelling Services ,got a couple of those and going to get some more soon ,they are great and good value I think for the price.
Cheers

I'm co-owner of the company in the link provided by peleset (thanks for that  :D).

Unfortunately the site appears to be having issues. Feel free to PM me if you would like any more information.

Cheers,

Barry
