The Quest
« on: July 18, 2012, 10:36:18 AM »
I watched the Quest on TV last night (I had never heard of it before). It is a movie with Jon Claud Van Dam and Rodger Moore- set in 1930's Thialand. Lots of fun and martial arts- A bit light on historical detail, but fun anyway. I would recomend it, but only if you have got nothing better to do.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

I have a sneaky love of that film as well. The interpretation of "world's greatest fighters" is a bit stretched when the Spanish entrant is essentially a matador, and the German is shown as a master fencer when he receives the invitation, but only competes bare-fisted...

Still, it's good fun, and Muay Thai Island looks like a prime holiday location!
