Grumman Goose
« on: July 21, 2012, 11:56:49 AM »
After seeing Backwolf's post last year I rushed out to order a Lindberg Grumman Goose of my own. Unfortunately it sat on my shelf for a long time, but I was recently inspired to finish it for a Fear and Faith pulp game. Great simple, robust, kit - highly recommend if you can find one. The paint job is based on the Grumman Goose in the Smithsonian.

A very fine piece of work, sir! I do like the Grumman Goose. Nothing says high pulpy adventure like a small seaplane winging its way over the islands of the South Seas.  :)

Nice job, mine doesn't get out as much as I would like but it is a nice kit to have.

I need to get one of these to do a Tales of the Gold Monkey game.  Thanks for reminding me with your excellent example.

Do love flying boats. :)

I've got a card version I downloaded for free some time back. It (along with vast amounts of other stuff) is still awaiting construction so that I can put on my South Sea Island scenario.

Will have to hunt around to see if I can get one of these instead. It might kick me into doing the tramp steamer, volcano, sacrificial altar etc to put the game on.
