Love what you've done too Hammers. The black looks great, what paints combo did you use for the black?

How did you settle on the patterns for the feathers?

Just thought "Bird of Paradise" and used my imagination.   

Black and white is always effective.  White with red tips - sure I've seen feathers like that on wildlife programmes.

As is usual with Malcolm's work these minis are even better in person than in the photos.  I don't know how that can be with his excellent photos skills.  The skin tones are stellar.  These fellows certainly take pride of place in my minis cabinet!

When I first saw these figures in bare metal,
I did not really care for them.
But after seeing the excellent painting,
I have a very different take on them.

Oww, these are really nice. Especially the one with that unbelieveable blowpipe. A slent killer that's for sure. Hmm, unfortunately they don't fit into my Vietnam Project......i think 
Let me have a good long think about that.
