How did you settle on the patterns for the feathers?

Just thought "Bird of Paradise" and used my imagination.   ::)

Black and white is always effective.  White with red tips - sure I've seen feathers like that on wildlife programmes.   :)

As is usual with Malcolm's work these minis are even better in person than in the photos.  I don't know how that can be with his excellent photos skills.  The skin tones are stellar.  These fellows certainly take pride of place in my minis cabinet!

When I first saw these figures in bare metal,
I did not really care for them.
But after seeing the excellent painting,
I have a very different take on them.
Like them alot. Thanks for sharing.

Oww, these are really nice. Especially the one with that unbelieveable blowpipe. A slent killer that's for sure. Hmm, unfortunately they don't fit into my Vietnam Project......i think  8)
Let me have a good long think about that.
