Dropzone Commander Paper Terrain
« on: July 25, 2012, 07:17:27 AM »
In the last couple of days, Hawk Wargames has uploaded a motherlode of PDF files with designs for making 10mm urban terrain for their newly-released game Dropzone Commander, which apparently requires a lot of terrain.

The buildings are nicely detailed, with a kind of art deco twist, and they're all free to download. Which is ace! There are stacks of different designs too. Worth a look IMHO.

I have a laser jet...so I suppose I could just download these and run over to Office Max right?  Have them printed out on some reasonable cardstock?  Something tells me these would be perfect for my 1/200 Robotech game...hmm...at least cheap stand-ins until I get proper terrain built up.

110 lb / 200 g/sqm matte photo paper should be ideal.

Those are beautifully illustrated. And especially for free downloads.

Well, 10mm is 1/200 if I'm not mistaken.
And yes, as mentioned before, go for 200 g/sqm.
It might help to put a film on the printouts using some artists medium to protect it but also to have less problems of cracking when folding the paper.
