Nice additions Rich ... how about a labourer that is looking for work?

He could be called “Bob a job”

Jolly splendid collection of Bobs. ;D

I feel oddly vindicated by this thread...  lol

Excellent work as always Richard, the bodger is a VERY ginger boy, isn't he? I'd be tempted to add a small child with a catapult, Bob the Boy...

I love stuff like this, so characterful, so of its setting, so individual and in game terms so utterly pointless...!

If they go raiding the neighbouring village for food you could call the scenario
“Bobbing for Apples”.

You could do a sailor, but he’d just be bobbing along….

lol Good to see so many LAF chums embracing the silliness :)

Thank you so much for all the ingenious / comic suggestions.

I do also have a list of about 100 other obscure / archaic / obvious medieval trades and occupations beginning with B. So plenty of scope yet when it comes to naming further Bobs!

Bob the backwasher, bear-baiter, bellows-mender, bender (yes really), bluffer, bowdler, bone-setter, beekeeper, bailiff, beadle, bottom captain, bunter and bummaree, all seem to offer distinct modelling possibilities ;)

Fascinating stuff :D

Don't get me started on the Cs.

I guess you should save Bob you uncle for the last of the bobs before you move on to another letter.

Lovely and hilarious additions  :-*

Your modelling and painting keeps serving as an excellent motivation for my own little medieval project.
