But what about the way he paints his armour?  ;)

He does it that way to practice, as he is about to enter his 'Chaos Warrior' period....

Please don't encourage the Crazy Viking to further bouts of critical expression - especially not when he's had beer ;)

Obviously through some demonic pact - that Cross is perfect!!

Here's the mounted version. Very nearly the same...

Here's the next knight a pied... Sir Robert Montfichet.

And, his mounted predecessor...

Jimbibbly kindly gave me two of those GW 'bullet heads' - but inexplicably (and very annoyingly), I can't now find the seocnd one in my bits box.
So I had to used a Fireforge mailed coif head and add a green Stuff beard.
Good enough, I reckon... Just...  ::)

So good, just so good. Please tell me you use transfers for the crosses.

Very inspirational indeed.  I hadn't painted medievals for many years but used the models displayed here and on the Medieval 200 for ideas before I painting my last 2 entries.  The Fireforge models sure have some great poses and your PJs make them look fantastic!  :-*

Well, after a VERY long delay (about two and a half years!) I've finally managed to paint the dismounted versions of some of these mounted knights.
So, fresh from the last round of the LPL, I give you the Bloody Barons...

Excellent indeed!
 :-*

So, I see that you have gotten around to painting the back of them now as well..... ;)

What is that building that has seen such good use lately?
Very nice bit of rubble, that is.
Grand Manner?

What make?

Fireforge - per the title of the thread  ;)

Paul, the ruin is from Manor House Workshop - I bought several of these lovely buildings in different shapes and sizes - so actually, all the ones you see in my LPL entries are different pieces  :)
