Lovely figures Richard - like the lion rampant.
Looks like Manor House of Italy terrain pieces - always tempted by their Italian medieval buildings (although they seems bit big footprints?)

Paul, the ruin is from Manor House Workshop - I bought several of these lovely buildings in different shapes and sizes - so actually, all the ones you see in my LPL entries are different pieces  :)

 lol lol
That will teach me to pay more attention.
They certainly are very versatile.

Thanks for the tip-off.
They look great the way you have painted them up.

Lovely work  :-* :-*

Although the first two scenes remind me of the Monty Python and the Holy Grail attack on the French castle  lol

You know, that was in the back of my mind when I was putting it together...  lol 'You silly English kniggets, with your knees-bent, running-around behaviour!'

Thanks for the tip-off.

Thanks Paul, but in fairness, they actually come pre-painted - I've just added a bit of a wash here and there, plus some extra greenery.

Thanks Simon. Yes, Manor House Workshop. I tried to get one of the Arengarios too, but it was out of production sadly. I've often looked at Lorenzo's products, wondered about the size (as they're made for his own range of 32mm high figures), and finally took the plunge with several of these pre-painted ruins. They scale up perfectly for 28mm figures to my eye, but yes, are on the hefty side. Very nice pieces though. Highly recommended. Suitably vaguely gothic for all sorts of settings and periods.

The red helmeted knight reminds me of a timpo knight I had as a kid, very nice work

Dad-gum!  More beautiful inspiration.  I too love the Manorhouse stuff. I have a tower and a building still in its box waiting to be built.

The ruins tempted me for some time but, sadly, the ones I wanted were oop.

Wicked, and as mentioned very Timpo like and that's in a good way. Makes me want to dig them out of their hiding place in the loft  .....

They are the old Ian Weekly models available (unpainted) from Vatican Enterprises in the USA, yeah?

Darrell.

Yes, Manor House Workshop. Don't think these are anything to do with the late, great Mr Weekly, Darrell  :)

Meanwhile, for completeness, I meant to point out that these latest five figures are the dismounted versions of the mounted figures made some time ago, and featured much further up in this thread...

Sir William De Warenne... (slightly out of focus, alas... Too much mead I expect... )

Sir Bouchant de la Moule...

Sir William Le Singe...

Sir Guy de Mordant...

Sir Renaud de Brassey...

I now have mounted and dismounted versions of eight knights.
I am thinking I might extend this small collection a little, by giving each knight a small retinue in matching livery: say, one spearman, one bowman, and a peasant of some sort... What thinkest thou?  :D

That sounds like a cracking idea and would really help tie a force together.
 8) 8)

But I think you need more than three each.... ;D

Definitely like the idea of adding a small retinue, very cool .......... maybe a squire holding a dismounted horse for when he's on foot.
