He's an absolute beauty, banana head or not!  :-*

That free hand is impressive to say the least.

Just noticed de Brassey's retainers.  They are wonderful - especially Baker Bob!  I love the flowing liripipe on his hood.  And the knight is first-class.
Now what is this whole life of mortals but a sort of comedy, in which the various actors, disguised by various costumes and masks, walk on and play each one his part, until the manager waves them off the stage?

Superb painting.

One question (and I am curious not being picky) should the lion on the right hand side be facing forward?

Heraldry has strict rules if lion is facing dexter (right of the bearer)- it had to be facing dexter on all instances. if he would be looking sinister (left hand of the bearer) he would be diffrent heraldry (and les honorable to boot)

Thanks for the comments.

So envious. I would love to get a large batch of the Fireforge cloaks. Shields I have plenty. Cloaks...not so much.

We might be able to do some bartering at a later point, when I have built some more knights and serjeants and have a Picture of what I don't need. Shields I use for other purposes, cloaks not so much...  :)

Thanks gents.

The next three-man retinue of soldier, archer and peasant...

These will be the trusty followers of Sir Guy De Mordant...

The spearman is an absolutely straight build (I know, unheard of!) from the Fireforge Foot Serjeants box.

The archer is a FF Templar infantry body, with Perry HYW longbow arms, plus an old GW head from a bag of bits generously donated by Mason (thanks again Paolo!)

The peasant ('Butcher Bob') is a FF resin 'Kiev City Militia' body with a Conquest Games head, assorted arms, and quite a bit of Green Stuff!

(See here http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=62778.630#lastPost for more on these FF resin figures - rather nice, and offering much conversion potential)
