I enjoy the beautiful painting as much as the playful sledging going on in this thread :)

Sledging is strictly for Aussies, Christian ;)

Have painted the latest two knights... Need to do their horses next...

Sir Gascon du Frottez, of the Holy Military Order of Arimathea...

Sir William Le Singe, knight bachelor...

  • Pedantic bugger, apparently.
Beautiful control of the lines of the celtic cross on the surcoat.
Back from the dead, almost.

Thanks. It is actually a little bit splodgy, but probably not so that anyone would notice from more than an inch away!  ;)

lol

Le singe?  :)

His livery comes from the ape army's in Beneath the Planet of the Apes - a field purpure (well, pink anyway) with a fess sable ;)
He is therefore, William the Ape :)

Fantastic colourful paintwork  :-* I wouldn't want to go up against them with nothing but a bow and arrow and some lincoln green tights  lol
Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.
