Pulp Dieselpunk Card game, Action Figure and Book
« on: August 08, 2012, 06:29:53 PM »
Ok, this one is kind of complicated but you guys are smart so I'm sure it will make sense.
I recently started a kickstarter to provide funds to print my second book Montezuma 1934.
Ok that's the first part, not too complicated.

The second part is, I'm working on a board game that let's you play through the series called Assault:19XX.  I recently had some prototypes made and I am giving away three at the highest pledge level.
Ok that's the second part, it makes sense too.

The third part is, I produced a limited production run of some Walking tanks that show up in the series! They are also available through the kickstarter.
Ok that was the part I thought might be complicated.
Be sure and check it out if you get a chance!

What does Dieselpunk mean?
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

In this context, one would think so. Don't expect much punk in the mix tho since it appears to be something close to a wargame.

Now what I got from the OP (I'm not one of those really sharp knives in the drawer so I might be wrong) is that this is a book-and-board-or-maybe-card-game project and not a minis gaming project as such. Still, I gotta ask... Why walking tanks, again? Haven't these been, kinda, done a lot lately?

Likely because they were in his web comic (an excellent read, btw) and that's where the game and other material is coming from.

I'm sure it's a cracking comic but that doesn't mean it makes for original miniatures.
