I'm looking for some nice models wielding a Dane axe... preferebly useable with GW lord of the ring models...

Any suggestions? Thanks alot!

Conquest's Plastic Norman infantry might be a good fit, but I haven't seen any comparision shots of them next to any other figures.

I'm not sure what a Dane Axe is exactley, but have you looked at Gripping Beast's Viking and Saxon sprues already? They have plenty of Norsemen axes, and are true 25mm, meaning they should fit with LoTR minis nicely.
Far less active than I used to...

There are a couple of GB armoured Saxons that would work quite nicely.

I've got a few of these and they are 'kin HUGE! They tower over Black Tree, GB and even Renegade. Agree that he's a very nice man though!
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!
