The Witch King!

 ;D

...And companions

I started painting the old HQ model some 3 years ago, but today I finally finished him. Along with a few other minis for a coming fantasy show.

I remember that bloke, nice job on him.  Much nicer than the attempt I made, oh say fifteen or sixteen years ago.   lol

Well this is actually my second attempt. The Humbrol Enamel version had his arms cut off and got tied to a M-42 tank that I'd dedicated to Games Workshop Chaos when I was 15. I still have it!

Really nice... HQ was my first love also (miniature wise  ;)) Any chance of a pic of the entire set? Pretty pretty please with sugar on top?

I ended up using Mr. Skeletor, and the other miniatures from the Heroquest box set as minis for my first couple of D&D games using the Red Box set.  Most of my early games workshop purchases were all geared towards roleplaying games.  Somewhere I have the awful things tucked away in a bin.  If I find them, I may end up posting them for a laugh or two.

Do it! It paints up nicely but plays horribly.
