Greetings from Birmingham!
« on: August 17, 2012, 07:17:33 PM »
Howdy all.

My name is Ryan, and I'm from Birmingham, England. I'm part of the October Wargames Club, and I enjoy playing a whole host of rules and periods. My favourite periods are Biblicals, Dark Ages, Crusader era (this is a new one for me) and the American Civil war.

I look forward to seeing you on the boards!  :D

Welcome to LAF Ryan.

May you have a long and merry stay with us.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Hi Ryan
Glad you are back in club mode. I hope to get down there again shortly. Perhaps we can get a game sometime.

John, which systems do you play? I'm sure I will be more than up for a game or 2 of something!

Hi Ryan
I tend to play smaller, skirmish type games (Chaos in Carpathia, Operation Squad) as I can't stay too late at the club. Just painting up a 15mm force for Tomorrow's War and a 15mm Russian WW2 army for operation WW2.
i know you play Song of Blades and I would be interested in having a go at that. Will probably not get down much until the schools start back.
John
Who is technically Black Country rather than Brummie but it's next door!

Don't worry, I'm actually in Smethwick myself, but I am Brummie born and bred!  lol lol

I've played Operation Squad a couple of times with Mike. I really enjoy it, but I've never gotten around to painting anything for it. Far too many other projects on the go at the moment!

I'd definitely be up for a game or 2 of SOBH though.  :D
