7TV: Set Designer
« on: July 11, 2012, 09:19:24 PM »
Our new accessory pack Set Designer is now available. We're delighted to be able to release Kevin Dallimore's beautiful floor tiles and wall designs seen in many of the pictures in the 7TV rulebooks.

http://www.crooked-dice.co.uk/store5.html#setdesigner

You can now furnish your HQs and lairs with these floorplans - using them as simple floor tiles or testing your arts and crafts to build rooms or complexes for your casts. This PDF only contains over 170 pages of artwork. You'll get 20 different floor designs (with and without a 25mm grid) and 20 sets of 4 walls (five variations of each set).

These are suitable for 7TV, 7ombieTV and any other modern, near future or post-apocalyptic gaming.

The pack comes with build instructions and ideas and the usual inspirational photos from Kev. All for £10.

And there's a few free pages here:

This game becomes more and more tempting with every new addition!

Very nice indeed.

This looks very nice and I am impressed with the sample pages.

I have 3 questions about the full PDF.

1-are there versions of all the floor textures without the grid lines?

2-are there versions of the wall textures taller than 1 3/4"?

3-does anyone who has this have any photos of what they've done with it to share?

Thank you.

Yes there are.

No there aren't, I think thats been done deliberately for ease of access to your miniatures whilst using the completed "sets" (Karl or Graeme will probably slap me and tell me otherwise LoL).

3-does anyone who has this have any photos of what they've done with it to share?

Either the end of this week or the start of next I will ;)

The camera man is from a Corgi diecast kit - Commer minibus, Samuelson Film Service.

I'd been after a 28mm cameraman for ages and I didn't even know that one existed.

The original figure is a bit rough, but it's benefitted from a Dallimore paint job - so looks pretty good considering what he had to work with! Kev had a couple so gifted me that one :)

Graeme and I said it would be great to get one modelled as its prime territory for 7TV - although no immediate plans.

I remember the Corgi one - although I never had that one.

If you do get one modelled how about the 4 lens camera that always appeared at the start of Grandstand?

If you're looking for a camera man you could always go with the one from Bob Murch's Pulp Figures range. It's part of a set of four figures, a film crew that includes a Director, Assistant with Clapper, Script Girl and the Camera Man. It's identified as PHP1, which is part of the Personalities line.

Cool Stuff.
What scale are the Corgi Car 1:76 or 1:43?
