Upcoming pre-1812 Perry French Napoleonics

No pics and very little in the way of specifics at the mo', but here's the low down anyway : Perry Miniatures will be releasing the first of their 1807-1812 French Napoleonics next month.

No need to rush to the Perry website as there is nothing there yet, but they're advertised in issue 299 of Wargames Illustrated. It's line infantry in march attack poses first, the figures are metal (nope, they're not plastics) and there are five packs announced so far (regimental command, battalion command, fusiliers, grenadiers in bearskins and grenadiers/voltigeurs in shakos - same structure as the post-1812  figures obviously).

Sounds good hope that means the British will have the same treatment

FN 156 French regimental command in campaign dress
FN 157 French battalion command in campaign dress
FN 158 French fusiliers in campaign dress

Besides the French, the Perry September slate also features Russian and Austrian packs :

A 42 man plastic set would of been nice, since there is no reason to get warlords 32 man set, I would of considered them, but I'm challenging myself to stick to plastics for most things.
