I like the way that you given some of your own flavour to the project, like the minis you have chosen to utilise the Pit-Fighter list.
Much better minis, I reckon.

Yes, they started as a possessed band but I have a group of them coming......

Re: Binmann's Mordheim Campaign THE TOWN
« Reply #16 on: August 24, 2012, 02:22:48 PM »
So this is the location of the action, I intend to change th board but might build towrds a proper town layput as I develop the game (and get more buildings)

So the action takes place in the Ruined City of Bakkewald, it is on the South of the Mad Dog Pass somewhere near Fatabad in the World's Edge Mountains...

If you are wondering why the small wooden jetty is so heavily featured, it's because I painted it!! WHY THANK YOU (bow, bow, bow)

I think you'll agree that Grimm's buildings and boards are great!!!

Next tile tile the first game reoprts.

Judging by the number of threads on LAF that corner of the Empire is positively littered with ruined towns......land and property are cheap, but house insurance is nigh impossible to come by!

Nice collection you are putting together Adam. What are the 2 large plinth type buildings?

Very good stuff.  :) And an impressive board layout. I don't think I'd have the follow-through with a project like this if I was doing solo play.

They where from ebay, for anyone with any skill I'm sure not too hard to make which is why I bough them...

Would you like some closeups?

I'm fortunate in that I get to see a LOT of very cool Mordheim stuff at Tom's Boring Mordheim Forum...it's one of the Mod benefits. While all the various takes on The Town & surrounding areas are unique, they share the common trait of being highly imaginative & creative works. This board fits very nicely in that description...TERRIFICALLY WELL DONE!

All I did was hold onto my minis for 20+ years and then pay someone to paint them..... plus when my friends come over we will game non-stop
I do feel like a private collector though, having beautiful things for me only, but if you are even in the centre of France.....

 :o :o :o

I cant believe that you just wrote that!

There is always something more to be made for Mordheim.
At the moment I am working on a Wizards Tower and a Witch's hut.
Progress is slow as I am not really concentrating on them, just tinkering, to keep the urge to build supressed.

::) .....counts me out then, apart from a few crates and the old foam graveyard I only use what came in the box (well boxes, I have 3 of them).

Really nice set up there; I'm looking forward to seeing some of your battles.

Also I love the choice of miniatures that you're using, really nice selection; it's enough to make the rest of us feel jealous!

Keep up the excellent work in collecting such fantastic specimens.

Cheers
Andy
