Nice figures Eric, quite a collection you're building.
Have a look at Sharp Practice, it has an F&I supplement I think. A great set of rules( once you get your head around the mechanics. It designed for large scale skirmishes with the emphasis on scenario driven games with heroes etc.

If you are looking for rules, I will be releasing my next miniature rule set: Buckskins and Rangers - Skirmish Rules for Gaming the French Indian War in a few weeks. Have a look here:

Well I was finally persuaded to run a raid scenario this weekend...great fun was had by all. The M&T rule set really captures the flavour of the Mohicans...also big thanks to Perry, Redoubt & Galloping Major for some great figures.

I just need to finish the pile of lead I seem to have gathered, finish the terrain...and think about the next project

A few more photos and batrep report on the blog

It must be said that Eric puts on a good spread. He has a huge table that he manages to cover with terrain and figures for many, many different settings and it's all his own work (and maybe some help from his offspring).
Proper LAF stuff :)

Thanks Paul

You will be pleased to know that the log cabins are all finished, I built a roof for the blockhouse and started the French Line. Photos soon.

See you Monday

I needed to source some log cabins pretty damn quick. For those of you in the know the new Musket & Tomahawk rules & scenarios call for buildings (ie settlers dwellings) to be the focus of activity.

Fortunately the wargaming community came up trumps and some searches later I found these Pegasus hobbies buildings.  A few days later the models arrived and were subsequently built – minus the roofs – I hated the current version and wanted something more organic – hence the towelling thatch.

Loads of pictures on the blog walking you through the transition and if you are looking for 28mm cabins these really rock ! ...oh and they are a great price.
