Gothic Horror peasant mob

Not going gothic horror, but in fact going to be using them in my fantasy campaign here as Farmer John and his 7 sons:

About time you showed your face on this board :D

Great work, I can see one of Robin Hood's men lurking in the background, how does he fit in? He doesn't look like a farmer. lol (and who makes the figure?)

Well I went a bit back and forth in my head about what to do with that figure, and seeing that he was only one single figure I didn't really feel like making thread for him all on his own so I just added him to the back here thinking that no one would notice. He's got a companion that I forgot to paint up when I was doing these guys.

The figure is from Harlequin. I think. Bought it when I was just getting in to wargaming and didn't know that Games Workshop was the only company in the world.

  lol

Well you're not too far off the mark. One of the sons is an actual seventh son of a seventh son in the game.  lol

Nice paintwork Thorbjorn.
Never been completely sold on the very angular, slightly over-animated style of some of the figures in this range - although I do have quite a few of them myself :)
I guess these look the part though.
And I could swear your painting has shifted up a gear.

Thanks. Well... tomorrow I start again. And then you probably won't see a lot from me until 2013.  lol

The money is another thing. This here lot was bought in a foreclosure of a gaming store.  ;)

Thanks Cap!

I always end up painting Old Glory or West Wind because of the wrong reasons.. haha. But I think this lot is OK. Comical and clumsy and even whimsical in places. I've got loads of the Gothic Horror range and they've been lying around for ages. Thought I might as well dig in..  ;)
