It's the same with almost everything though, car manufacturers, food providers etc. If they are good enough (and they certainly are) people will buy them  :)

Nah, they are the exception to the rule, especially unbelievably tall ones. ;)

Sadly, they don't work for me as I prefer the "fuller" Bicorne/Redoubt/ Renegade look and these just look slimmer IMHO. They remind me of 1/72 figures, but just larger if you get my meaning. I for sure think they will find a market because they have their own stylish look which will appeal to many collectors, but just not to me is all.

If a company has a new look or has well done figures then there will always be a market. ;)

No worries Empress you have me hooked on your lovely Spanish Civil War range! :-* :-*

Do we really need modelbuildings for open field battles??? ;)

I prefer Tobi's cheap mass produced samurai buildings to those expensive hand crafted ones...  ;)

Ah, sorry boys, bit of an in-joke...

We discovered at GLAM in Kiel back in the Spring that Tobi (Green Knight here on LAF) had made some excellent and inexpensive samurai buildings, very.. erm.. closely modelled on Jimbibbly's own hand-tooled Oshiro Models range...

It was quite interesting watching James' face as he played a samurai game across terrain using cut-price copies of his own buildings :D
How we laughed...
(Actually he took it all in good part, and there were a few genuine Oshiro pieces on the table too :))

Anyway, I digress from the topic... Sorry Empress ladies. And Keith.

I was still trying to work out whether it was the buildings that were tall ,or James ... so I'm still at the top of the page somewhere.  :D

Going back to the figures... ;)

Really nice, I have seen a couple of these in the flesh (the drummer and officer based on me...  :D) and i like them a lot. A purchase will be coming up.
Really looking forward to the cavalry, I need lots!

Tasty.  Any chance of clubmen and civilians down the line?

Few ranges out there actually catch the right look of the ECW as we understand it now.  This is one of them, perhaps the first to really do so.  I have ordered and eagerly await arrival.

Sure they are not cheap, but when you have to pay Griffin's costs (you get what you pay for) It is a reasonable amount. Metal roughly £22 per kilo as well.

I speak from experience having used Griffins services, who are the best, it ain't cheap.

So good luck to this range, I'm hooked. :)
