Does nobody else paint in a seemingly random manner, influenced only by what they last saw on tv and how much time they have that day?
It's not just you mate, my planning is very 'fluid' as well.
I was all set that this year I was to bring my WWII forces up from squads to platoons, then get to work on jungle scenery for the lost world and troops for the Vietnam war.
As such I've mostly been painting SciFi stuff.
The Vietnam project got as far as two 1:48 scale Hueys undercoated.
The new plan is more modern Brits to be UNIT to fight the Daleks.
Those Brits then become actual modern Brits to fight the troops of a fictional Eastern European country, which is the next project.
All the while I'll be making jungle and European scenery.
And a new Stargate.
And painting up my Storm Trooper squad for Star Wars.
And some more Rebel Aliens for Star Wars.
Also more Dinosaurs.
And my scheme to do a fancy Cluedo set using Thrilling Tales models.
Then Vietnam.
Once I've got a squad of US Troops for Vietnam, they're going to have to fight the Predator too. So some Not Predator models from Old Crow.
And those WWII Germans and British.
All this will of course change next week, when I read a new book, see a new movie or someone posts something so cool here that I have to give it a go, again.
