Rocket Men and Mercenaries

Painted both of these sets at least a year ago.

Rocket Men:

I've also got half of the unit builder pack, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it up... Here's a detail shot of the shoulder logo:

My Pulp/VSF Mercenaries:

They are Tiger Minis spanish infantry in sunhelmets. The uniform colors are based on half remembered uniforms I saw on the news about Iran while I was at lunch one day. I still need to get around to do some more rifle men and askari from the German or Dutche ranges. I think I might also convert some heavy guns or machine guns for them. Don't know how large I want to make the unit though. :)

Also, I just can't think of a good flag/pennant for them. If anyone has a good idea I'd be interested to hear it.

Jibbery style oinkery which don't make no damn sense.

Love those rocekt men.  I've painted a few myself and always feel like I should get three or four more done.

Great job!  I especially like the uniform on your mercenaries.

Very very cool. Been thinking about picking up some of those Tiger minis. Nice to see them painted so well.

Thanks for the comments.

I'm going to be going into speed painting mode over the next couple of days trying to get over 50 figures painted up for display and sale for Cold Wars. I'm going to try to take some picks before the show to post here.

I've got 22 of Tiger's Moros and some of his oop Colonial Germans done from last year that I just finished rebasing. All four packs of their Spanish in Slouch Hats, 15 US Infantry, and three guns and crews. As well as several Hydra figures for display. Also one D&D fig I'm painting for a contest if I have time.

I'll be glad when it's Wednesday.
