Shanty Town, finally finished!
« on: September 05, 2012, 05:55:40 PM »
Hi, here are some pictures of my 15-20mm shanty town I have recently finished, the project was started in 2010  lol I was unsure on how to paint these shanty huts but I finally took the plunge and painted them really fast and easy with some cheap hobby paints. The shanty town was started in 2010 as I was inspired by a whole series of post about 15mm wargaming and the ruleset AK47 from Peter Pig but now the pieces are finished I'm already discovering new horizons and the once great looking poject was binned luckily I haven't bought any miniatures! Enough of the boring talk here are some picture I took from the entire shanty town somewhere in Africa near the equator. And keep an eye out on this post as a tutorial will follow in the future.  ;)

If somebody is interested in purchasing these pieces please pm me as they are not needed anymore  ::)

The entire layout with exception of a silo which is still drying.

Some close ups

Cheers!

Looks good!  :) Why'd you shelve the project?

Too many other shiny projects including but not limited to: 28mm army of darkness, 28mm French napoleonic army, colonial armies both native and british, well too much ...  ;D

But maybe I will hold the pieces and start a project in either 15mm using peter pig miniatures or 20mm.
