Which online vendor carries separate brass or plastic rails in the with the right profile, length and scale suitable for 28mm railway gaming?

I wnat to use the for blasted segments, construction sites and the like.

Is it worth giving Hornby a go  ???

Can't think of anywhere that would do it separately off the top of my head. The only other I would suggest is 'tee' beam and you can get that from EMA.

I'd be interested for an answer also for my Mars project.

It's very easy to pull the metal rails off of the plastic sleepers on the hornby stuff! It's not exactly the right scale but it looks ok once used.....

Worth bearing in mind that you can get pieces of track which aren't Hornby and are a bit cheaper.
