I am considering purchasing the Wargames Factory WWII Late War Germans platoon.  Can anyone tell me what the weapon mix is in the box?

Even better - how would you set up the platoon based on what's available in the box?

Pictures of the sprues are on the website:

You get 2 of the Weapons sprue (though you can arm all the figures from only 1) and 3 of the bodies/heads sprue.

They are excellent models and perfect for converting.

The WF minis are good, & obviously excellent value. I can confirm that they're very convertable, (I gave mine torsos from Mantics Corporation Marines for my Secrets of the Third Reich Germans, the WF parts fit perfectly) & as good as the Warlord Bolt Action plastics (though they're more 'realistically' proportioned - more slender than the more 'heroically' proportioned BA stuff).
 Each arm/weapon sprue if you haven't seen it contains;

16 GW98's (4 with attached rifle grenades, 2 loose with sniper optics)
 7  GW43's (1 loose)
 4  MG 42's
 4  Panzerfaust's (2 loose)
 10 MP 40's (2 loose)
4 pistols (look more like Luger's than P38's)
 2 arms holding grenades
+ left arms needed to support each weapon (the guns are mostly attached to the right arms)

As to setting up a platoon, that would probably depend on which ruleset you're using, they'll all have slightly different loadouts/restrictions, but will state them clearly. You can probably generalise & say that each squad would have mostly GW 98's, (with perhaps a few GW 43's thrown in) with NCO's having the MP 40's (sadly no SGW 44's in this box) & perhaps one MG 42.
 Hope that helps!

One platoon should have...

NCO with either SMG or rifle + pistol
2 x LMG gunners + pistols
Rest should have Kar98 and or GW43

Mix in one or more SMGs if SS for sure, at least I would.
