Experiments in Bocage
« on: September 13, 2012, 06:38:18 PM »
Guys

I thought I'd share with you a few photos of a small section of 28mm bocage I made. You'll see I've 'snapped' it along side some Artizan British infantry and a Warlord Cromwell tank. I'm calling it a prototype as I want to get it right before I start making the necessary yards and yards needed for a game.

I plan to make 1ft/30cm and 6''/15cm sections as well as 'T' & 'Y' shaped junctions; field entrances; and sections where appropiately equiped tanks have cut their way through.

The method adopted follows some internet based research. The basic raw materials are 3mm MDF, rubberised horse-hair, and polystyrene. Feel free to share your experiences of making and using bocage and as ever, I'd be happy to receive constructive feedback.

Looks some of the most convincing I've seen, well done!
A step by step might be nice if you've got the time?

Nicely done.  I, too, would like to know how you did it.
