Small update!

I decided to have a hill. So I built one. Unfortunately, I didn't measure that very good, so it turned out to be massive...

Here it is from one side. My plan was for it to be more natural. It isn't, but still gar better than a hump...

From the other side.

The second thing I did was to save a small sideboard from a certain death. Some glueing, fixing, sanding, and painting made it possible for me to start phase three of my project dubbed 'gaming on the balcony'. There is a practical use for this of course. Besides being able to use the balcony as an extra room; I got kids, and my gaming friends too. So instead of wasting good gaming time with watching the kids, we can combine the two (with a lot of yelling of course). The table is pretty neat and small when folded :)

Cheers!

I want one of those tables!  :)
They used to be common in the 60's. Now they are pretty rare. The thing weights around 5 kilos, so they're easy to move around :)
Table size is roughly 120 by 70 cm :)

Tack!

That was the whole idea. Slopes are more thematic than a oval lump om the table. I had the idea that I wanted the whole area to be playable if you can place a mini on iy. The next experimemt is to cover a hill in a magnetic sheet :)

That's a jolly nice hill and posing Julie Andrews on it is inspired.

thought changing your username would help did you?  lol ;)

seriously, just stumbled on this thread again, and I can no longer moan at you about finishing it as I had my wilderness years period in the interim, but I can continue to massage your ego, it was a great piece of work throughout...
